From the hours of procrastination in my studio, to attempting to teach 6 and 7 year-olds how to mix colours , to solving practical problems of the local artists in the lovely art shop that I manage…I live my life in art..
By seeking out art exhibitions, joining art workshops, and visiting studios, I hope to impart an intimate look at artists who are committed to their craft.
One of the most difficult things for many artists is to promote themselves and their work .My goal is to create an online source that is informative and accessible for viewers of all kinds and to promote artists by generating interest , support and curiousity. Sharing my first hand experience is an authentic and opportune way to of actively inspiring others.
My unshockable 80 year old Mum is just discovering the world of art and loving it .Her colourful company and innocent quirky comments make visiting exhibitions all the more fun.
I am an introvert and l relish time alone. A weekly stash of healthy homemade biscuits , a continuous flow of tea and a full day spent working myself to exhaustion in the garden or studio bring me immeasurable pleasure .My daughters call me an organizational wizard and a kitchen witch, and know me to be down to earth , extremely practical and hands on, in other word ,hands always dirty, either paint , food or soil.
